What determines the choice of a take-off guide is the diameter and the entry geometry of the central bore the yarn runs through, together with the mounting dimensions of the part. The mouth of the bore is under constant contact; the hard surface of technical ceramic delays wear in that area. Where the group works on the machine varies with the product code; it should not be assumed from the name that this is a spinning or an extrusion part.
