Traverse Guides: selection notes
In choosing a traverse guide, the size of the ceramic tip alone is not enough: the shape of the carrier, the mounting direction, the winding width and the traverse stroke have to be compared as well. The contact face at the tip is ceramic and stays hard; the carrier body is plastic and the fasteners are metal, which keeps the arm light but durable. The scope of supply — the complete arm or the ceramic tip alone — varies with the product code; please state the code in your request.
