Eyelet Guides: selection notes
Choosing an eyelet guide brings three dimensions together: the diameter of the bore the yarn or the wire runs through, the radius of the entry and exit edges, and the mounting dimension with which the part sits on the machine. The mouth of the bore is under constant contact, so the hard, smooth surface of technical ceramic delays marking in that area. Chemical resistance depends on the type, concentration and temperature of the substance in contact.
